It's a whole new Kyle Field
David Nuno gives you a tour of the renovated stadium

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KTRK) -- The renovated Kyle Field, which is a $450 million dollar project, is 50 percent done. Phase two will begin at the end of the Aggies football season.

At a tour today, the university unveiled the renovated East side, including suites, the 300-level concourse, concessions, restrooms and Cool Zone.

The field itself has been lowered by seven feet, so fans are on top of the action. The stadium is enclosed, which will add a louder game day feel to an already loud stadium.

This season the stadium will hold 106,500 but next season that drops to just over 102,000.

Texas A&M Chancellor, John Sharp says the stadium has added over. 300% new bathrooms. He says in the past that was the biggest complaint he gets from female guests.

The Aggies home opener is Saturday against Lamar.
