MLB Opening Day 2024: Neymar, Andy Reid and more throw first pitches

There was no shortage of celebrities who rang in the new Major League Baseball season Thursday with a first pitch.

Brazilian soccer star Neymar took the mound at the Miami Marlins' opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid brought the Vince Lombardi Trophy out while throwing the first pitch for the Kansas City Royals -- much to the interest of Patrick Mahomes, who inquired about Reid's delivery.
