Jazz will send Trey Burke to Wizards for 2021 draft pick

Utah Jazz guard Trey Burke confirmed that he will be traded to the Washington Wizards.

Burke, a first-round draft pick in 2013, announced on Instagram that he is D.C.-bound.

The Wizards will send the Jazz their 2021 second-round draft pick in exchange for Burke, according to multiple reports.

The trade cannot be finalized until July 7.

The former Michigan man is projected to come off the bench and back up All-Star point guard John Wall.

Burke averaged 10.6 PPG in 64 regular-season games last season for the Jazz.
