Implosion brings down west side of Kyle Field

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KTRK) -- Texas A&M demolished part of Kyle Field this morning. At 8am, the older side of the stadium came down.

The west side of the stadium housed the old press box and three levels of seating. The stadium has been a construction zone since the end of the LSU game. The $450M stadium renovation should be complete in 2015.

The Aggies will play the first few games of next season at NRG Stadium.
