Free-agent forward Troy Williams has agreed to a three-year deal with the Houston Rockets, including a guaranteed first season on the contract, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 6-foot-7 Williams played 24 games with the Memphis Grizzlies last season before being waived in January. He was picked up by the Rockets in March and played six games. He also spent time in the D-League for both franchises.

He averaged 9.7 points and 4 rebounds in 23 minutes per game in Houston, an increase over the 5.3 points and 1.9 rebounds in 17 minutes per game in Memphis.
