BOSTON -- The Houston Astros recalled Dan Straily, Friday night's starting pitcher, from Triple-A Fresno for their game against the Boston Red Sox.
To make room, the team optioned right-hander Michael Feliz to Fresno.
On Thursday, outfielder George Springer was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a fractured right wrist.
Outfielder Alex Presley was selected from Fresno to take Springer's spot on the roster.
Springer was injured when he was hit on the wrist by a 95 mph fastball thrown by Edinson Volquez in Houston's win over Kansas City on Wednesday night.
Springer was hitting .264 with 13 homers and 29 RBI.
