EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Dez Watch will continue for another week.
The Dallas Cowboys downgraded wide receiver Dez Bryant to out for Sunday's game against the New York Giants after listing him as doubtful on Friday.
Bryant did not fly with the team on Friday but he is scheduled to fly to New Jersey early Saturday evening and be on the sidelines at MetLife Stadium.
Sunday will be the fifth straight game Bryant misses because of surgery to repair a broken right foot suffered in the season-opening win against the Giants.
He had surgery on Sept. 14 and the Cowboys put a 4-6 week recovery period on his return. Monday will be the six-week mark. Bryant went through rehab sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and has yet to practice with the team.
Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said Bryant will have to practice before he plays. The Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 1 at AT&T Stadium.
