Brittney Griner claims in court documents Glory Johnson cheated

Brittney Griner claims her estranged wife, Glory Johnson, was cheating on her before their marriage, according to court papers filed in July.

In the papers, filed July 13 and obtained by USA Today, Griner claims she discovered that Johnson had a sexual relationship with a man leading up to the WNBA stars' engagement, and continued to text with an ex-boyfriend after the engagement.

The documents reveal that Griner omitted those facts in the initial filing to protect the couple's privacy.

On June 5, Griner filed for an annulment of the marriage, 28 days after they married and a day after Johnson announced she was pregnant via in vitro fertilization.

In her original court filing, Griner cited "fraudulent statements" by Johnson and said she was pressured to marry "under duress."

In a separate case, Johnson has filed papers to seek temporary spousal support and attorney fees from Griner.

Court documents filed June 29 in Maricopa County, Arizona, detail Johnson's request that Griner pay $20,000 per month in spousal support, plus a $10,000 advancement toward attorney fees for Johnson's counsel.

Both women were suspended for seven games by the WNBA following their arrests after a fight in their Arizona home on April 22.

Griner, of the Phoenix Mercury, has served her suspension and has been voted an All-Star starter by fans. Johnson, who is not playing for the Tulsa Shock this season, will serve her suspension next year.
