LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, dealing with calf and hamstring injuries, experienced a setback and is questionable to play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.

Jeffery practiced without restrictions Wednesday and Thursday but missed practice on Friday with "hamstring tightness," according to head coach John Fox.

"He'll be day-to-day and questionable for the game," Fox said. "He had some hamstring tightness after yesterday's practice, and we held him out today. But questionable for the game."

Jeffery has been dealing with a left calf injury that forced him to miss the entire preseason. He did return in Week 1 but appeared to favor his left calf during the game. Jeffery finished with five catches for 78 yards in the losing effort.

"It's not a good feeling whenever you have someone who may not be able to go, but we don't know," Bears wideout Marquess Wilson said. "But we have plenty of receivers who are capable of stepping up and getting the job done. We just all have to step up. We have to play our game and do what we need to do. We have to just play the game."

Outside linebacker Pernell McPhee is also questionable for Sunday with wrist and knee injuries.

McPhee sat out practice on Thursday and Friday after being limited on Wednesday. The Bears originally said McPhee suffered from only a wrist injury but later conceded the linebacker is also dealing with a knee problem.

The Bears credited McPhee with seven tackles against the Packers.

The Bears will hold a walk-through practice on Saturday.
