Astros minor leaguer Marc Wik suspended 50 games for 2nd positive test

NEW YORK -- Houston outfielder Marc Wik has been suspended for 50 games following a second positive test for a drug of abuse under baseball's minor league drug program.



The 23-year-old, a 21st-round draft pick four years ago, is hitting .234 with seven RBIs in 23 games this year at Class A Lancaster of the California League.



The suspension, announced Friday, was the 44th this year under the minor league program.
