METAIRIE, La. -- New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against Golden State because of a chest contusion that forced him from Friday night's victory over Cleveland.
Pelicans coach Monty Williams says Davis spent Friday night at a hospital, where tests didn't find any serious injuries that would be expected to sideline Davis for an extended period of time.
Davis left Friday night's game with 5:30 left in the first quarter. Team officials say they've been unable to pinpoint when or how Davis was hurt, but the injury is believed to have been caused by a collision with another player's elbow.
Davis is averaging 24.3 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in his third season.
