Workers put finishing touches on Ice Land at Moody Gardens

GALVESTON, Texas (KTRK) -- With just days to go until the opening of Ice Land at Moody Gardens, dozens of ice carvers are hard at work transforming two million pounds of ice.

This year's theme is rainforest holiday, and 25 master ice carvers from Harbin, China, have been in town since September creating sculptures of monkeys, birds and other rainforest creatures.

Ice Land opens at Moody Gardens on Nov. 11.
