Wedding photos for the husband's eyes only
It may not be for everyone, but more and more brides are taking boudoir bridal portraits

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Summer is the most popular time for weddings. Also in demand are new kinds of wedding photos, but ones that not everyone gets to see.

It may not be for everyone, but more and more brides are taking boudoir bridal portraits.

Terilyn Brown and her husband Koby are known for wedding photos, but they kept getting special requests for boudoir shoots. The new trend is where brides give their grooms a special wedding gift, for his eyes only.

"We want to do something that feels like it could be in a fashion magazine," Terilyn said. "Really, our whole goal is to teach women to be happy and celebrate who they are."

Houston attorney Courtney Carlson-Siegmund got up the guts and took the plunge.

"I did have a couple of sips of champagne before we started," she said. "You want to prove to your grandkids that grandma looked good," Courtney said.

The end result was revealing with see through, sexy skirts, romantic lace, and topless, yet tasteful.

"I was shocked. It just looked like me and felt like me," Carlson-Siegmund said.

Her husband was also pleasantly surprised.

"I thought it was great when I opened it up. I was very, very happy," Brandon Siegmund said as he laughed.

Like most things on your big day, boudoir photo shoots will cost you. Prices range anywhere between $2,000 and $4,000.
