Jessica Brown, a Sociologist with the University of Houston Center for Immigration Research and Christine Kovic, an Associate Professor of Anthropology and Cross-Cultural Studies at the University of Houston-Clear Lake examine the border crisis that has caused the influx of nearly 50,000 child immigrants at detention centers along the Texas-Mexico border.
Brown and Kovic discuss some of the reasons children from Central America are trying to enter the country and ideas for solving what some are calling a humanitarian nightmare.
