MONTGOMERY, TX (KTRK) -- A class favorite was elected homecoming king at last night's Montgomery High School football game.

Colton Webb, who has Down syndrome, is the football team's manager.

He's made an impact on many students' lives as well as the coaches.

His parents thanked the school for being so accepting and his coach had a special message for him.

John Bolfing, the school's head football coach, said, "Just want to say congratulations to Colton Webb, he's an outstanding young man. We're very proud of him."

Shelly Webb, Colton's mom said, "It's amazing to see the kids at this school be so accepting and love and take care of him every day."

Colton's dad says Colton was very happy to receive the honor from his classmates.
