New ice cream shop uses liquid nitrogen for the frozen treat

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- A new ice cream shop opening up in Spring is taking the word "frozen" to another level.

Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt opens tomorrow, selling ice cream and yogurt flash frozen with liquid nitrogen.

"It allows for less ice crystals to get in the ice cream, so it may take a little longer but in the end it's a lot creamier," said store manager, Alec Flanagan
