Burger King sells 'Proud Whopper' in rainbow wrapper

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRK) -- A Burger King in San Francisco is selling a special burger right now. It's called the "Proud Whopper."

Burger King produced a video to promote the Proud Whopper. The restaurant started selling it last week, ahead of the city's annual gay pride parade. The whopper comes in a rainbow colored wrapper that reads "we are all the same inside." The video shows real customers trying the burger.

This is the last day the Proud Whopper will be sold. All sales of the burger are being donated to a foundation for scholarships benefitting LGBT high school seniors.
