HUMBLE, TX -- Offering a little bit of something for everyone, the Barn Door Market, a new boutique opened its doors for shoppers in Humble on Wednesday, July 9.

Selling a variety of items from CeCe Caldwell's Natural Chalk + Clay paints, home decor, body care, clothing and more; it hearkens back to a time when the area was a hub of unique shops similar to this one.

"I grew up in Humble; it used to be booming with cute boutiques and shops. They all pretty much closed," professional wedding planner turned store owner Tamela Brumley said. "I'm hoping to be able to offer a comfortable atmosphere and a fun shopping experience by offering handmade and personalized one-of-a-kind gifts, natural soaps and lotions, candles and as well as fun T-shirts and other gifts."
