Recycling plant fire under control in east Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A large fire at a recycling plant in east Houston is now under control, officials said.

Firefighters were called to the recycling plant near the corner of East Navigation and Harrisburg Tuesday afternoon. Thick black smoke could be seen for miles across the city.

No injuries have been reported.
