Realtor of 'filthiest home in Houston' offers limo rides to showings
Realtor Paul Gomberg says he is a "rock star," and he gives his clients rock-star treatment, too.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- He grabbed everyone's attention when he tried to sell what he calls the "filthiest home in Houston." But when it comes to selling homes, Realtor Paul Gomberg says he is a "rock star."

"My thing is just treat people like a rock star and give them an experience in during their real estate period of buying or selling that they are always going to remember, which keeps them coming back for more," said Gomberg, Realtor with Keller Williams.

So what is included in the rock star treatment? How about a ride in a stretch limousine or 24-hour on call service.

"I could call him at 1am and he'd answer the phone, and we'd go over houses at one in the morning," said homebuyer Ryan Rulander.

Though Gomberg is a California native, he has been in the Texas real estate business since 1981.

"I really couldn't do this in L.A. No one would probably look twice at it," said Gomberg.

And Gomberg caught first-time homebuyer Joshua Turknett's attention just by what he wore.

"He comes walking out in a Rolling Stones shirt with some blue jeans and Converse All-Stars, and I was like this is my guy," said Turknett.

Despite the popularity of his filthy home video on YouTube, Gomberg primarily shows homes in Montgomery County. He says his videos are getting noticed.

"Two people came up to me oh we saw your filthy house. That was so disgusting, can we have your autograph?" said Gomberg.

However, Gomberg says regardless of what he is selling he is always the same. What you see is what you get.

"It's not really an act. It's who I am with the hair and my hat, what I wear and what I do," said Gomberg.
