HOUSTON (KTRK) -- County Attorney Vince Ryan is taking another shot at unseating a controversial Harris Community College board member.
Read the filing here. To sum it up: Ryan is asking a judge to say 12 jurors were wrong two weeks ago and that Dave Wilson does not really reside in an apartment in a warehouse where he works -- and which happens to be in the HCC district he represents.
Wednesday's filing says the jury simply couldn't side with Wilson and that Wilson really lives in a house where his wife lives outside the district.
If a judge agrees with Ryan after a hearing scheduled for August 18, the jury's verdict would be tossed and Wilson booted off the board.
"It's definitely harassment," Wilson told ABC-13. "They want to beat me down and win."
Wilson predicts even if he wins this it won't be the last step.
The county suggests they've spent less than 10-thousand dollars fighting Wilson.
Wilson doesn't buy that and says he's spent $38,000 so far defending himself.
