HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One man has been shot multiple times at a Jack in the Box in northeast Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

HCSO were called to the 14000 block of Eastex Freeway for a shooting victim at 3:53 a.m.

ABC13's Jeff Ehling on the scene of a man shot multiple times overnight.

When deputies arrived they found one black male in a gold Buick shot multiple times.

Deputies say that the victim stated that he had picked up tacos at a local Jack in the Box when he was ambushed from the rear side of his vehicle.

An unknown black male shot through the rear pillar, quarter panel and both passenger side windows of the victims vehicle, according to deputies.

The victim was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. His condition is unknown.
