GALVESTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman who was walking on the beach in Galveston Tuesday discovered the body of a young dolphin.
The woman posted photos of it on Facebook, which alerted beach patrol.
They arrived to the scene along the Seawall near 57th Street and found the mammal.
It was later picked up by the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network and taken back to their lab.
Beach patrol told ABC13 that they get many dolphins washed up on the Seawall throughout the year.
