KEMAH, TX (KTRK) -- Everyone was able to get off of a yacht that caught fire near Kemah this afternoon.
According to the Coast Guard, the 45-foot vessel caught fire just as it was going under the Kemah Bridge.
There were four people on board at the time of the fire -- a doctor and his wife who own the boat and two people who were considering buying it.
They were all cruising along when it started to catch fire. All four were able to safely get off the boat which became quickly engulfed in flames.
The Coast Guard was able to tow the charred vessel back to the marina.
At this point, the cause of the fire is unknown.
The doctor who owns the boat is a plastic surgeon. The boat is appropriately named 'Botox.'
