HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Cleanup is beginning today after a massive scaffolding collapse in downtown Houston on Friday.

Of the six workers injured, only one still remains in the hospital with a gash to his head and a broken arm. His family says he is doing well, but is having difficulty speaking.

Workers with a crane were out this morning at the scene on Crawford near Commerce, working amid the twisted metal as efforts continue to clear the debris from the scene.
The Finger Companies -- the company behind the construction of this luxury building -- is beginning their investigation into the collapse.
In 2012, there were 73 deaths associated to scaffolding across the U.S.; in 2013, 45 deaths; in 2014, 42 deaths, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
OSHA says there were 96 construction-related deaths in 2014 in Houston and the Woodlands.
