Woman killed in nightclub shooting in Dayton; 2 suspects questioned

DAYTON, TX (KTRK) -- Liberty County deputies are questioning two suspects after a woman was killed following a shooting at a club in Dayton.

The shooting happened at the Double B Oaks Club on Highway 146 around 10:15p Friday night.

Deputies say the victim and a man began fighting inside the club.

At some point the woman went outside and that's when witnesses heard shots being fired in the parking lot.

The suspect took off but was later pulled over by investigators.

The victim later died at the hospital.
