Her injuries were minor, but police are trying to find the shooter

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman was rushed to a hospital after she was wounded in a drive-by shooting. According to eyewitnesses, the woman was grazed by a bullet after a fight outside a northeast Houston house. The victim is said to be ok, and walked to the ambulance on her own.

According to Houston police, they received a 911 call at about 2:25pm Tuesday. The call reported a drive-by shooting on Bywood near Darien.

When officers and EMS arrived, they found one woman shot. We don't know at this point what led up to the shooting.

It did occur at the very edge of the neighborhood, as the property next door is vacant and adjacent to homestead road and some commercial businesses. The suspect was last seen speeding from the scene in a black Dodge Charger with a Hello Kitty sticker in the rear window.

There's no word on the condition of the victim, but eyewitnesses say her injury did not appear to be life-threatening.
