Woman drowns in pool of SW Houston retirement home

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Emergency crews have responded to a reported drowning at a retirement home in southwest Houston.

Police said they found a woman's body in the pool at the 7400 block of Beechnut at the University Place Retirement Community. They said she is a resident at the retirement home.
