HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An aspiring police officer -- outnumbered and outsized -- was attacked and carjacked in the parking lot of her apartment complex.

Zhane Johnson, 20, is just 4'11 and weighs 87 pounds, making her an easy target for three carjackers.

"They came up right here and attacked me right there and threw me to the ground," recalled Johnson.

The crime happened September 25 around 1pm at the Cranwood Forest Apartment complex on Ella Blvd in north Harris County.

Johnson had just arrived home. She says two guys got out of their gray Nissan. One hit her in her face, picked her up and threw her to the ground. The other jumped in her car and took off. Johnson suffered facial injuries that will require surgery.

A neighbor's camera captured some images of the carjacking. The robbers were wearing hoodies obscuring their faces but their car was easy to see.

"To be honest, I'm still scared," Johnson admits.

However, she also says being a victim has reinforced her decision to want to become a police officer.

"I've got to start my career ASAP. The crime out there. Our generation. I don't know what it is but it's bad," she added.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers or the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
