Visitation tonight for slain Spring family members
The public will have a chance to pay their respects to the six family members who were shot and killed at their home in Spring last week

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The lone survivor of a mass family shooting in Spring said goodbye to her father, mother and four siblings.

A visitation was held Tuesday for the Stay family at Klein Funeral Home on Champion Forest Drive.

Cassidy Stay, 15, was the only one who survived the vicious attack on her family last Wednesday. Cassidy's mother, father and 4 siblings were all shot and killed inside their Spring home. Cassidy survived the shooting by playing dead.

The accused killer, Cassidy's uncle Ron Haskell, is facing multiple capital murder charges. Authorities say he committed the murders when the family did not tell him where to find his ex-wife, who is Cassidy's maternal aunt.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2pm at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 16331 Hafer Road.

Several businesses, including many Chick-fil-a locations, are raising money for Cassidy Stay. An official memorial page for the family has been set up on Facebook, and those who want to donate to the family can do so on GoFundMe.com.
