Investigators want you to take a look at the video

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We have new information about a deadly ambush at a west Houston restaurant last month. On Wednesday, police released the surveillance video they hope will be the key to cracking this case.

The robbery happened August 20 at La Hacienda on Memorial. The video shows a glimpse of two suspects police say shot and killed a restaurant worker last month.

The two suspects were seen on video walking towards the restaurant, one seen with a ball cap, red shirt and white shorts. The other has long hair in curls or deadlocks. Both are in their 20s and have distinct features that could make it easy to identify them.

Police say both men went to the back alley of the restaurant and came face to face with three workers, shooting all three. One of those victims, 51-year-old Aurelio Solano, died.

"We don't know if this is part of a larger scheme or this was just a crime of opportunity," said Det. Isaac Duplechain with the Houston Police Department. "I don't know if they will strike again. I certainly hope not."

If you recognize the men in the video, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. You may be eligible for a cash reward for any information leading to an arrest.
