BRONX, NY -- A quick-thinking police officer helped save a woman nearly choking behind the wheel.
The incident happened Friday on the Bronx River Parkway and was caught on the officer's Dash Cam.
Officer Gregory Zakoscielny is seen walking up to a car that he observed pulled over in the right lane, where he notices the driver holding her throat.
When the 49-year-old driver she gets out, she manages to convey that she's having trouble breathing.
Zakoscielny grabs her and performs the Heimlich maneuver, forcing out a throat lozenge.
