PORTER, TX (KTRK) -- Firefighters were dispatched to a two-alarm fire at a mini-storage facility in Porter.
The fire broke out just before 3am at the building on Kelly Drive, just north of East Knox.
A heavy fire was found by the time firefighters arrived, with flames destroying seven of the facility's 50 units.
A second alarm was pulled, bringing in help from Houston, East Montgomery County, Caney Creek and Needham Fire Departments.
One person was injured with burns to the hands.
Fire officials say with no fire hydrants in the area, tankers were forced to shuttle water to dump tanks set up at the scene.
The fire was tapped out at 4:33am, according to officials.
