KANSAS CITY, MO (KTRK) -- A huge fight at a Kansas City, Missouri, convenience store was caught on surveillance camera, and a person involved in the brawl said it all started when a disagreement spun out of control.
One of the people involved in the fight who did not want to be identified said it all started after a woman allegedly damaged his cousin's car at a nearby nightclub.
He said, "They tore her tag, they scratched her truck up, and they messed up her mirror."
The verbal disagreement soon turned into a physical fight with punches thrown and feet flying.
The person involved in fight added, "We all could've been killed. It could've possibly been some shooting if had escalated into more. I'm probably sure there would've been."
However, as station WDAF reports, the worst attack came outside the gas station where the man's friend was jumped as he tried to break up the fight.
He said, ""They were kicking him, punching him, stomping him, it made me so angry. He was hurt really bad. He hurt his arm especially. They think his rotator cup is messed up."
The man's friend was hospitalized.
The man said the fight and alleged subsequent attack makes him feel scared. He said, "Makes me feel scared not to go anywhere or you know, the type of people that you hang around, makes you scared."
