Dramatic surveillance video shows clerk firing on robbers
Dramatic surveillance video shows a clerk in a north Houston convenience store opening fire on would-be robbers.

HOUSTON -- A clerk in North Houston said she believes three men were involved in a robbery attempt on her store.

The getaway driver made purchases in the Fulton Street store earlier, the clerk said. Then, two men walked in right after her boss left, one wearing a hoodie, the other a hat.

"They said give me your money, I saw the gun in their hand," said the clerk, who would only identify herself as Lisa. "That's when I started shooting."

They came to the side door, but she shot first, and several times.

"I just went crazy I guess," said Lisa.

"I don't think they were expecting she was going to straight shoot them," said another story employee, named Ricky.

The men ran off dropping the money bag. Lisa isn't sure if they were hit, but she's ok.

"I'm really nervous," she said.

"I'm glad she's OK. That's the best thing I can say, that she's OK," Ricky said.
