This little guy caused a big big mess of traffic in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRK) -- A police chase involving a feisty Chihuahua is getting a whole lot of attention.



The Chihuahua led police in a chase on a bridge in San Francisco. As you can see from dashcam video, the dog refused to go quietly.



The tiny puppy made a big mess of traffic on a San Francisco bridge


The pursuit began when drivers called 911 to report a dog running in and out of traffic.



Officers shut down the bridge and eventually took the dog into custody.



The Chihuahua is now in the hands of animal control officials.



Workers are looking for its owner. If they can't find them, the tiny dog will be put up for adoption.
