HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Thieves smashed into a beauty supply store and grabbed hundreds of dollars' worth of wigs and weaves.

The entire crime was caught on tape, and now the store owner wants to know if the robbery at his business is connected to another hair heist from earlier this week.

The smash and grab happened at KY Fashion on west Mount Houston near Veterans Memorial.

Surveillance video shows a white truck smashing into the store, and then 10 men run inside and grab everything.

The store owner says they stole wigs, weaves, beauty supplies and even the cash register.

The entire crime only took two minutes. And it's very similar to another smash and grab at a beauty supply store on Wednesday. That crime, in southwest Houston also involved a white truck and several men.

The store owner thinks the men who robbed that store also hit up his business.

Store owner Woong Kang said, "The other day I saw, the same thing happened and we was cautious and we were worried about (protecting) our property, but nothing that we can protect against them because I called the police 30 minutes ago, 30 minutes before it happened, but police respond too late."

All of the suspects remain on the run. The owner says they caused nearly $100,000 in damage. It's not clear when Kang will reopen the store.
