Two people injured after fire breaks out in group home

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Firefighters battled a fire early this morning at a group home in Harris County.

Around 2:30am, crews were called to Mission Verde and Camino Village Drive.

Two people living in the home received minor burns but escaped the house and have been transported to nearby hospitals.

Investigators tell Eyewitness News this is a home for people battling drug addiction and going through rehabilitation.

There is no word on what caused the fire.
