Two people found dead at east Harris County apartment complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Detectives are investigating after two people were found dead inside an east Harris County apartment complex.

The investigation is unfolding in the 14000 block of Alderson at East Sam Houston Parkway.

Detectives say a man came home for lunch and found his 26-year-old girlfriend shot in the head. According to detectives, the woman typically hangs out with a next-door neighbor. They went looking for the 33-year-old neighbor and that man was also shot dead.

No arrests have been made, and authorities are still trying to figure out what exactly happened.
