HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A fire burned Thursday at a northwest Houston plastics shop that's been in business for decades.
Aero-Shield Plastics, Inc. in the 12100 block of Sowden caught on fire around 4:40pm. The Houston Fire Department called for more manpower around 5:15pm. Ninety firefighters ended up on scene because of the heat and because the fire inside was stubborn. The plastics fueled it.
The business had just closed for the day so no one was inside and no one was injured. Arson investigators are now trying to figure out how it started.
Aero-Shield Plastics has been in business for 42 years. It manufactures and sells plastics products.
