Teen who shot self in head playing Russian roulette dies

SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- A 15-year-old who shot himself playing Russian roulette has died, according to the medical examiner's officer.

It happened Friday in the 21300 block of Greenham Dr.

The 15-year-old was with another teen at the time at the home of a man who says he doesn't own a gun.

Detectives are investigating where the weapon may have come from.

The teen, who has not been identified, died Saturday.
