Teen shot in leg during robbery attempt in northeast Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A teenage boy was shot during an attempted robbery Saturday in northeast Harris County.

The teen says he left his apartment near McArthur High School at Aldine Mail near Gloger around 7am. Three men approached him and tried to rob him. He was shot in the leg and they ran away.

The teen should recover.
