TOMBALL, TX (KTRK) -- Family members are at the hospital, hoping their son recovers this morning after he was shot and pistol whipped just after midnight.
Harris County Deputies say around 12:30am Tuesday morning, a young couple was driving home along Mueschke Road and saw a teen with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
The teen gave very little information and was slipping in and out of consciousness, according to deputies.
He claimed four men picked him up in a car, pistol whipped him and drove him 50 miles out of town. His abductors then dumped him on Mueschke Road.
The victim is a 17-year-old male. He was taken to Hermann Hospital in stable condition. His mother and father are with him in the hospital.
A family friend says they had recently moved into the Houston apartment complex where they are living. The teen says he was kidnapped from his apartment home but investigators say his family denies this claim.
Neighbors say they did not hear or see anything.
So far, no arrests have been made.
