Suspect in New Mexico Amber Alert may be headed to Galveston

Police say Katrina Bryant, 36, of Taos, New Mexico may be taking 4-year-old Kingston Rodriguez to the Galveston area.

TOAS, NM (KTRK) -- An active Amber Alert out of New Mexico may have ties to the Galveston, Texas area.



Police are searching for 4-year-old Kingston Rodriguez. He was last seen with his mother, Katrina Bryant, 36, on Monday in Taos, New Mexico.



Bryant is the child's mother, but she does not have custody. Police also say she did not bring him to a court appearance earlier this week as ordered.



Bryant is believe to be driving a black 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport with New Mexico registration 172-RTD. Police suspect she is traveling to Texas, specifically the Galveston area.



Kingston has brown eyes, black hair and weighs about 50 pounds.



If you spot them or the vehicle they are traveling in, you're encourage to call local law enforcement right away.
