Security video captured the overnight hair heist in west Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- For the 3rd time in less than a week, burglars smashed into a beauty supply store in the Houston area.

This break-in happened around 2am this morning at the Sense Beauty Supply on Veterans Memorial Drive. The store owner, Jim Kim, shared security video with Eyewitness News.

"Just devastated, scared. I hope this would not happen to other people. It's really dangerous," he said.

In the video, you can see crooks crash into the back part of the store with a vehicle and then make their way inside. Kim estimates almost a $9,000 loss between the stolen merchandise and damage. He explained they went for the expensive hair, wigs, and clothing.

"I hope the officers will catch those people really fast. They're not nice people," said Kim.

Houston police believe these are the same thieves who stole hair weaves from other locations in Houston last week.

Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers.
