RICHMOND, TX (KTRK) -- A Walmart in Richmond was evacuated this afternoon after several store employees reported getting dizzy.

It happened at the store at 5330 FM 1640. According to the Ft. Bend County EMS, it happened as employees were unpacking clothes that had just come in. They say there was a strong odor, then a handful of employees reported getting dizzy.

They told management, who then evacuated the store.

Medics treated several employees at the scene, though no one has been transported to the hospital.

A HazMat crew is on the scene investigating the source of the odor. The Walmart remains closed.
