HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Crews are working to diagnose the problems which led to rainwater leaking onto fans Sunday during the Texans game at NRG stadium.

According to SMG, the company which runs the stadium, say the leaks occurred in the second half of the game.

Many fans took to social media to air their frustrations about getting wet or having to move to avoid the downpour. One told us the leak didn't bother him because it was the Washington fans near him who got soaked, not anyone in his party.

A spokesperson for SMG told us, "The leaks will be addressed and repaired as soon as possible."

According to County Judge Ed Emmett's office the Harris County Sports and Convention Corporation is aware of the issue and views it like any other county-owned building which occasionally requires repairs.
