Police: Woman, 90, pulls shotgun on nearby construction workers in Channelview

CHANNELVIEW, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities say a standoff with a 90-year-old woman in Channelview ended peacefully.

Precinct 3 sheriff's deputies say they were called out to the house on Lakeside after reports the elderly woman pulled a shotgun on construction workers, who were on the job next-door.

No shots were fired and after a couple hours the woman gave up. She was taken to a hospital.

No charges are filed.
