SAN ANTONIO, TX -- San Antonio police have arrested a man who they say kidnapped two female University of Texas at San Antonio students.

Thirty-four-year-old Bo Jett Littleton was being held Thursday on charges including kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.

Police say a woman who was partially bound escaped from Littleton's apartment near campus on Wednesday and contacted firefighters responding to a blaze in a trash bin outside. She told them she had been kidnapped and that an armed man was holding another woman captive.

Police say Littleton surrendered after trying to barricade his front door. They say he was armed with a knife.

The women's conditions are unclear.

Littleton is being held at the Bexar County Jail on $300,000 bond. Online records didn't indicate an attorney.
