Police: Teen driver caused fatal accident

MONTGOMERY (KTRK) -- One person is dead and four others hospitalized after a crash in Lake Conroe on Sunday morning.

It happened on Honea Egypt Road.

Investigators say a 17-year-old driver driving a Dodge truck pulling a flatbed took a curve too wide and hit a family's car.

There were four people inside of the car including a husband a wife and their mothers. The wife's mother died and the other three were trapped inside the vehicle. They were taken to area hospitals.
